Leroy-Somer’s permanent magnet synchronous motors are designed to be controlled by a drive. Their efficiency is not only better than that of IE2 asynchronous solutions with equivalent power, but is also much more stable when the speed varies. This difference in efficiency is as much as 12 to 15 percent at half-speed.
Leroy-Somer CPLS, LS, LSMV and FLS motors offer a standard series of AC motors that cover the power range from 0.55 kW to 750 kW. The rugged and flexible design means that the motors can be applied in virtually any application.
